The barn has 3000 square
feet divided into two levels. The upstairs is a large open
room with exposed woodwork and windows revealing the gorgeous
mountain views outside. This open area is perfect for dancing,
large meetings and conferences or family style dinning. Guests
are welcome to enjoy the antique wrap around bar and hand
fashioned wooden tables and chairs.
Three old fashioned rolling barn doors open the downstairs
area to the beautiful surrounding grounds. Old horse stalls
have been converted into a second bar area, and two gathering
or meeting rooms with brass chandliers and banquet tables
made out of salvaged barn lumber. The blend of elegant and
rustic elements makes Shawnee Springs Barn a truly charming
and unique venue. It is a wonderful place for distinctive
high country events.
Guests will also enjoy the stunning outside area surrounding
the barn. Gorgeous mountain views frame the grassy lawn that
is ideal for a party tent if extra space is needed. The grounds
offer hiking trails that are perfect for strolls during conference
breaks. Our fire ring is just the thing to gather folks together
for storytelling or marshmallow roasting. The rustic farm
sheds in the background add to the homey atmosphere and is
a great photo backdrop for mountain
weddings or family reunions.
